Oour founder, Les O'Leary, incorporated TLR in 1991 following his return to the U.K. after a period in California where he opened a Silicon Valley office for Marconi Defence Systems.
TLR initially began working with Jane's Information Group (the major defence publisher) for their consulting department with Charles Le Mesurier. The business slowly grew from there.
Around 1996, TLR began to move into software development, producing the first CD ROM of the Farnborough airshow and also a trade catalogue for Reed International. The software part of the business grew at pace with everysite, our information technology services operation, being established in 2001.
From 2001 our work focussed in the food and farming industries, working with the schemes that would eventually become Red Tractor: Assured Produce, Assured Combinable Crops & Assured British Pigs, alongside LEAF, LEAF Marque and the Environment Agency.
The longstanding client relationships we hold and the strength in the team we have today is credit to the work of our founder and the core values we hold in TLR: striving for excellence at every turn.
