mobile devices

The number of smartphone and tablet devices is constantly growing. We are currently expanding the reach of the EBlocks framework to target these systems.

Having a consistent data model and access framework across multiple platforms will allow us to easily deliver an existing application or service onto a new platform.

A cut-down version of the EBlocks framework is available for Silverlight, and shortly for Windows Mobile 7. This allows us to deliver both in-browser and standalone applications that can download and store data locally on the user's computer or phone and synchronise it with a central server, and with a richer and more interactive user interface than a HTML web application would allow.

Through the Mono project implementation of .NET we are working on targetting iPhone and Android smartphones, allowing us to develop custom applications that can access, store and synchronise data both offline and online.
