Contracts
legals, project plans, service levels
Our relationship with our clients is always based upon a clear contract that sets out our warranties and guarantees as to what work is to be done and what service levels are to be achieved.
In a standard contract we define all the usual business clauses relating to a fixed-price offer to design, build and maintain the client's services. In particular, there are 4 schedules that detail the work that is specific to the client's project. These are:
- Schedule 1 - the project plan giving the tasks, resources, deliverables, fees and timescales for the project
- Schedule 2 - the list of services that the client is to receive
- Schedule 3 - the levels of service and the support arrangement the client is to receive
- Schedule 4 - the fees for the support services the client is to receive
Any follow-on work is usually carried out under a revision to the contract so that only the schedules need to be updated. Typically a new project plan (schedule 1) and a revision to schedules 2, 3 and 4 is produced for client approval.
